Design it. Build it. Make it matter.

Ryan Bailes

Creative Director. Creative Developer. Entrepreneur.

I turn ideas into digital experiences that look great, work intelligently, and serve a purpose.

I'm a website designer, developer, digital strategist, and business owner based in Tyler, Texas. My work brings together creative thinking, hands-on technical execution, and a practical understanding of what businesses need to succeed.

I Like Knowing How Everything Works.

I've never been particularly interested in staying inside one discipline.

I enjoy the creative process of designing a website, the technical challenge of building it, and the strategic thinking required to make it useful.

My work spans website design and development, ecommerce, search optimization, digital advertising, analytics, and emerging technology.

Sometimes I'm working through a visual concept or writing code. Other times I'm solving a technical SEO problem, configuring conversion tracking, exploring an API, or figuring out how to improve an online business.

To me, these aren't separate interests. They're connected parts of building something that works.

What I Do

01Design

Creative Direction. Web Design. User Experience.

I create visual experiences that combine thoughtful design, clear communication, and memorable interactions.

I care about the details—typography, layout, color, imagery, motion, and the way people experience a website from beginning to end.

Whether I'm developing a visual concept, designing an ecommerce experience, or exploring an interactive interface, my goal is to create something distinctive without sacrificing usability.

02Develop

Frontend Development. Ecommerce. Integrations.

I work directly with code, platforms, and technical systems to bring ideas to life.

From custom interfaces and ecommerce storefronts to APIs, automation, and deployment workflows, I enjoy understanding what happens behind the screen.

I'm continually exploring modern development technologies and new ways to create faster, more capable, and more engaging digital experiences.

03Strategize

Search Optimization. AI Discovery. Advertising. Analytics.

A great website is only part of the equation. People need to find it, understand it, and have a reason to use it.

I work across traditional SEO, AI search optimization, digital advertising, conversion tracking, and analytics to connect digital experiences with measurable business objectives.

I approach marketing as a connected system rather than a collection of unrelated tactics.

04Build Businesses

Entrepreneurship. Innovation. Problem-Solving.

As a business owner, I understand that creative ideas need to make practical sense.

I evaluate opportunities, explore emerging technologies, and look for better ways to solve problems, create value, and build things that last.

My background in business and accounting influences how I approach both creative projects and technical decisions.

Tools of the Trade

I work across a mix of design tools, programming languages, development frameworks, ecommerce platforms, marketing systems, and analytics technologies.

My work involves platforms such as Shopify, WordPress, Google Ads, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Google Search Console, GitHub, and Cloudflare.

I also work with frontend technologies, structured data, APIs, automation tools, and emerging AI systems.

I'm less interested in using technology because it's new than in understanding what it makes possible.

Creative Thinking. Business Perspective.

Good design matters. So does knowing why you're building something in the first place.

Tyler, Texas

Before focusing on digital marketing and web development, my professional background included accounting and business. I earned my bachelor's degree from Baylor University and an MBA from the University of Texas at Tyler.

Today, I'm a co-owner of Bailes + Zindler, a digital agency where creative work, technology, marketing, and business strategy intersect every day.

That combination influences how I approach projects. I enjoy ambitious ideas and new technologies, but I'm equally interested in practical execution, efficiency, and measurable outcomes.

I believe the best work happens when creativity and business thinking support each other.

Have Something in Mind?

I'm always interested in thoughtful ideas, creative collaborations, interesting technology, and opportunities to build something useful.

If you'd like to connect, talk about a project, or learn more about my work, I'd be glad to hear from you.
